Upper Room Hire and Booking Details
The Upper Room is usually available for club or individual hire. It has a capacity of 100 people, with disabled access and toilet. Guest WiFi is available. A fully fitted kitchen is also available (though NB there is no freezer). Sufficient chairs can be provided to seat the full complement of people, though if you wish to seat your company at tables for a meal, there is an upper limit of 55-60-ish.
It is routinely used for church activities – post-mass socialising, Friendship Group, Brownies & Guides, and receptions after funeralsm as well as courses and meetings. From the start of January to end March 2026 it was used on Wednesday nights as a venue for the Wycombe Homeless Connection Night Shelter scheme, meaning that a number of homeless people were fed and given bed-spaces there overnight, so it was not available for bookings on Wednesday evenings during those months.
This usage may recur in 2027.
Car parking is very limited at the church itself, though at weekends ample parking is available behind the offices opposite – weekday parking is available in some local streets and in the station car park some 400 yards away. See parking info here.
The room is licensed for the playing of music. In deference to our neighbours, we ask that music is stopped at 10 pm.
Our routine hire is a minimum of 3 hours with a charge of £25 per hour. However, the Parish priest may be willing to negotiate a shorter time.
